JOB DESCRIPTION

Bale Dalton for Congress is building a people-powered campaign focused on connecting with voters in Florida’s seventh congressional district (FL-07) and earning support through authentic, grassroots organizing. We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals who are prepared to hit the ground running on a fast-paced, highly competitive congressional campaign.

Field Fellows will play a key role in helping grow our grassroots program ahead of the general election on November 3. Field Fellows will work closely with other organizing staff and volunteers to expand voter outreach efforts, strengthen volunteer engagement, and support campaign events across the district. Candidates with or without previous experience are encouraged to apply.

This is a paid, 30-hour/week position .

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may include:

• Recruit volunteers through phone calls, texts, and relational organizing efforts

• Train and support volunteers in voter outreach tactics and campaign best practices

• Conduct direct voter contact through texting, phone banking, and in-person canvassing

• Help lead in-person canvassing and other volunteer events

• Assist campaign staff with in-person events, visibility actions, and community outreach

• Build positive relationships with volunteers, supporters, and voters

• Help track outreach progress and report organizing feedback to campaign staff

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic campaign environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Comfortable talking with new people and building relationships quickly

• Passionate about Democratic politics and electing Bale Dalton to the House of Representatives

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

• Flexible and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

• Comfortable using texting, phone, and virtual communication tools

• Must have reliable transportation
