JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Field |** Reports To:** Regional Field Director

Hamilton for Kansas is building a broad statewide field program to turn out voters across Kansas. The Voter Contact Organizer will be on the front lines of that effort — making calls, knocking doors, supporting volunteer phone banks, and helping build the grassroots infrastructure needed to win the August primary.

Responsibilities

• Execute and meet daily voter contact goals through phone banking, door canvassing, and peer-to-peer texting

• Support and help facilitate volunteer phone banks, including virtual phone banks

• Recruit and follow up with volunteers to grow the caller and canvasser pool

• Enter and track all voter contact data accurately in VAN/VoteBuilder

• Assist with volunteer training and onboarding for new phone bankers and canvassers

• Participate in team check-ins and report progress against voter contact goals

• Support GOTV operations in the final weeks leading up to the August 4 primary

Experience & Qualifications

• Passion for progressive politics and getting Adam Hamilton elected

• Strong communicator and comfortable talking to strangers on the phone and at the door

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to hit daily and weekly goals

• Basic familiarity with Google Sheets or similar tools for tracking

• Experience with VAN/VoteBuilder a plus but not required, we will train you

• Kansas ties or familiarity with the community strongly preferred

Success for the Voter Contact Organizer is simple: you show up, you make the calls, you hit the doors, and you help build a program that turns out voters on November 3rd.

Compensation

$20/hour | Temporary position through November 3rd General Election
