JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:

Zach Dembo for Congress is hiring multiple full-time Field Organizers for the 2026 cycle to

work on a competitive campaign in Kentucky’s 6th congressional district. Our

team is looking for high-energy, adaptable individuals to engage in on-the-ground

organizing and serving as representatives of the campaign across the district. No prior

organizing experience is necessary, all training will be provided. Organizers will report

directly to the Field Director. This position will run through November 15th, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in direct voter contact and facilitate conversations with voters across the district.

  • Build and maintain relationships with local activists, stakeholders, organizations, and county parties within the assigned region.

  • Recruit and support a team of volunteers. Lead volunteer canvass launches, phone banks, and other potential outreach events.

  • Create accessible entry ramps for those in the assigned region to engage and volunteer with the campaign.

  • Work collaboratively with other field staff to accomplish campaign goals.

  • Any other campaign-related tasks, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ties to Kentucky will be considered, but are not required.

  • Enthusiastic about building relationships and empowering volunteers.

  • Strong time-management skills, and drive to hit and exceed metric goals.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Committed to getting Democrats elected.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends

  • Must have access to a laptop and a valid driver's license along with reliable access to a car.

  • Ability to work in-person in assigned regions.

  • Ability to relocate to KY’s Sixth Congressional District. Supporter Housing can be discussed and prepared.
