Michiganders For Money Out of Politics - Regional Field Director
Summary: Michiganders for Money Out of Politics (Yes on Prop 2) is a statewide ballot initiative that would prohibit political contributions from monopoly utilities, prohibit contributions from corporations holding major state and local government contracts, and strengthen disclosure requirements for political advertising and independent and dark money spending. This ballot initiative makes Michigan one of the country’s premier affordability and democracy reform battlegrounds in 2026. The measure responds directly to Michiganders' growing frustration with political corruption, utility rate hikes and data centers, rising health insurance costs, and Michigan’s pay-to-play system where corporations buy influence.
