JOB DESCRIPTION

Ready to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November?

The Staten Island Democratic Party is looking for Canvassers to bring a change to our government. As a Canvasser you will be on the frontlines representing the party and our candidates. You'll be responsible for executing door-to-door canvassing throughout the borough of Staten Island.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person canvassing outreach via door-to-door canvassing

• Accurately record canvassing data

• Report back to Field Leadership

• Stay on approved messaging for the party and our candidates

• Be persuasive and motivating while talking with voters

Qualifications:

• Belief in Democratic values and empowering others

• Ability to meet goals and deadlines

• Wiling to canvass outdoors in all types of weather

• Verbal communication skills

Qualifications that are a plus (even if you don't have any of these, please still apply!):

• Bilingual

• Past experience in direct voter contact and community organizing
