SUNNYHOUSE STRATEGIES IS HIRING: CANVASS DIRECTOR

Sunnyhouse Strategies is seeking an experienced Canvass Director to manage a paid political canvassing program in NYS Senate District 6.

Pay: $1,200 per week

The Canvass Director will oversee daily field operations, manage canvass staff, and ensure the program meets voter-contact goals.

Responsibilities:

• Launch the canvass daily and travel throughout NYS Senate District 6

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise paid canvassers

• Prepare and assign turf

• Use Voter Activation Network (VAN) to manage voter data and canvass results

• Track doors knocked, conversations, voter IDs, and other daily goals

• Monitor canvasser performance and address staffing or field issues

• Support GOTV operations as Election Day approaches

Requirements:

• Previous political campaign, field organizing, or paid canvassing experience

• Strong working knowledge of VAN

• Reliable car required

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a team

• Availability for evenings and weekends as needed

Previous experience supervising paid canvassers and cutting turf is strongly preferred.
