Trip Yang Strategies is a nationally recognized political consulting firm that helps candidates, organizations, and causes win campaigns. We provide strategy, digital and direct mail advertising, messaging, and voter outreach.

About the Role

TYS is seeking videographers and video editors to create video content for political campaigns and advocacy organizations nationwide. You'll collaborate with strategists to produce engaging, platform-ready content for social media and digital platforms—from filming in the field to final editing.

Requirements: Professional video production equipment, based in NYC, available to travel for shoots, and flexible evenings/weekends during peak campaign periods. Contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit video content for political campaigns and advocacy organizations, including event coverage, interviews, and on-location shoots

• Produce polished, persuasive videos with strong storytelling, graphics, and optimized formatting for social media and digital platforms

• Manage professional equipment, rapid-response projects, and multiple revisions under tight deadlines

• Maintain consistent branding and visual identity across all video content

• Collaborate with strategists on creative direction and participate in project briefings

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional videography, production, and editing experience with a strong portfolio

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment

• Ability to produce high-quality social media and digital video content with strong visual storytelling

• Capacity to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and travel for shoots as needed

• Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, or color correction (preferred)

• Political campaign or advocacy experience (preferred)
