JOB DESCRIPTION

DownBallot is hiring experienced Call Time Managers to work on our team, staffing call time sessions for several candidates running in local and state legislative races in 2027. Our company wins elections for Democrats running for local and state office across the country. Here’s some of the work we’re proudest of.

We’re looking for people who know the ropes and have managed call time sessions before — ideally with a firm or as a senior finance staffer on a race of any size — and who can exercise good political judgment to help our clients raise money. For many of them, this is their first time running for office, so good coaching is critical.

You’re a good fit for this role if this sounds like you:

• You’ve managed call time for political candidates.

• You know how campaigns raise money and have helped them do it as a finance staffer, a finance director or campaign manager, or a fundraiser at a consulting firm.

• You have good political judgment and understand how donors think.

• You take excellent notes.

• You can teach anyone how to make a hard ask.

• You care about electing Democrats.
