Jessica Dixon Heitman for State Representative

Pay: $25/Hrs

Hours: 10-20 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible, including evening and weekends

About the Campaign:

Representative Jessica Dixon Heitman is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our field team as paid canvassers. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on political campaign experience while helping connect voters with a proven Democratic leader who is working to deliver results for the 97th District.

Whether you're a student, recent graduate, community activist, or simply interested in making an impact this election season, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Canvass assigned neighborhoods and engage voters in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner.

• Discuss campaign priorities and encourage voter participation.

• Distribute campaign literature and information materials.

• Accurately record voter responses and data using your smartphone and the campaign's database.

• Report progress and feedback to campaign staff.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Interest in politics, public service, community organizing, civic engagement

• Ability to work independently and manage assigned turf effectively

• Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods

• Access to a smartphone for data entry and campaign communication

• Reliable transportation to and from assigned canvassing locations
