JOB DESCRIPTION

The Development Manager is responsible for:

• Building ATJ’s brand awareness and cultivating relations with prospective donors, philanthropic community, and grassroots supporters through research, digital engagement, and events

• Conducting prospect research and developing materials for donor engagement

• Supporting grant writing and fundraising proposals based on ATJ’s strategic programs and initiatives

• Working in collaboration with program staff, manage required grant reporting and compliance

• Leading and execute grant operations by leveraging the CRM tools to track gifts, process donations, and send donor correspondence in accordance with federal and state regulations

• Strategically overseeing sources of earned and programmatic revenue to meet fundraising goals through events and external engagements

• Working with ATJ’s board members to support fundraising events and stewardship efforts to meet board revenue goals

• Analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and program investments to make recommendations for continued improvements

• Providing other administrative, programmatic, and event support, as needed
