Jon Ossoff for Senate is seeking an Operations Director to support our growing team for the 2026 re-election campaign. The Operations Director will work with members of the campaign leadership team to ensure that every staffer and volunteer has operational capacity, supplies and other logistical support they need to carry out our program day-to-day. The Operations Director will work directly with our Deputy Campaign Manager and Campaign Manager.

The Operations Director will oversee human resources and office administration and work closely with senior campaign leadership on the long term needs of the operation. The ideal candidate should be assertive and have extreme attention to detail. A successful candidate can work quickly and in the rapidly changing environments of a statewide campaign. This individual should be a problem-solver with the ability to evaluate, create, and implement new processes in real-time. The candidate should also be able to prioritize competing demands and handle interacting, both internally and externally, with a wide variety of people and personalities. We are looking for someone willing to take on special projects large and small and manage them to completion. This individual must be comfortable dealing with sensitive information. Additionally, they will be responsible for collaborating with the 2026 Coordinated team on supply, logistics, and advance needs as necessary.

  • Develop, promote and regularly review efficient and effective processes and plans to ensure all the campaign’s logistics and operational needs are being met and that staff and volunteers have the tools they need to be successful
  • Coordinate and oversee logistics for campaign events, including working with fellow campaign leadership to identify and make additional staff hires to build out the campaign’s operations and advance capacity
  • Hiring and supervising the work of the operations and advance team, including managing the operations and advance team as the campaign grows.
  • Oversee Human Resources and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
  • Manage the onboarding of new employees
  • Oversee and manage payroll, vacation/sick time, benefits, reimbursements
  • Guide a staff recruitment and interview processes that helps build a team that reflects the diversity of Georgia
  • Manage vendor and partner campaign relationships to streamline and lead approvals and item procurement
  • Work with the campaign’s compliance firm to ensure the campaign’s compliance with applicable law
  • Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience including in an operations or campaign management-focused role
  • Superior organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage several tasks/projects at the same time while prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and good follow-through on tasks
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office suites

Salary: $10,000 Monthly

You must have the ability to travel throughout the state as necessary.
