Jon Ossoff for Senate is seeking a Deputy Special Projects Director for Training to support our growing team for the 2026 re-election campaign. This position will report directly to the Special Projects Director and will be primarily responsible for overseeing training and onboarding of volunteers and paid relational organizers to the digital organizing app Reach. The ideal candidate is someone with 2-3 cycles of experience in field, organizing, or operations on political campaigns. This position will manage a staff of trainers who will hold daily training sessions including on the weekends and in the evenings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead team of trainers including scheduling training blocks, tracking attendance, and hosting training office hours and additional support.
  • Develop training resources including videos, pamphlets, and other materials to assist learning.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of campaign tools in order to train others.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a field, organizing, or operations role on political campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in common productivity and data tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take initiative
  • Experience with relational organizing programs is preferred, but not required
