Labor Notes is a media and organizing project that has been the voice of union activists since 1979. Through its magazine, website, books, conferences, and workshops, it promotes organizing and aggressive strategies to fight concessions, while fostering alliances with worker centers and ensuring unions are run by their members. The organization serves as a network for rank-and-file members, local union leaders, and labor activists, encouraging connections across various sectors to strengthen the labor movement. With 45 years of experience, Labor Notes aims to combat the challenges faced by workers today, such as lower wages and job insecurity, and to empower them to take an active role in their unions and the broader labor movement.
