The mission of Leaders on the Fast Track (LOFT) is to invest in today’s most talented campaign and public service leaders, expand their perspectives, deepen their experience, skills and community, and get them ready for what comes next. The LOFT Fellowship is a full-time, one-year paid program offering top-notch business coursework, real-world simulations and experience, networking, and coaching for progressive campaign and public service leaders.

The LOFT Fellowship was developed in partnership with the University of Michigan, Georgetown University, and experts in corporate learning and development. LOFT develops and retains the best, most effective campaign and public service leaders by giving Fellows opportunities to collaborate and explore innovative thinking, find new ways to tackle problems, and learn how to build better teams, create winning strategies, and advance their careers.

LOFT will launch its inaugural program in January 2025 and is based in Washington, D.C.

POSITION SUMMARY

LOFT is seeking a Program Coordinator who will play a crucial role in ensuring a consistent, seamless experience for LOFT’s Fellows. As Program Coordinator, you will assist with internal communications, meeting planning, classroom logistics, and materials delivery in addition to other administrative support needs. You will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Chief of Staff and the Director of Leadership Education, in addition to interacting with and supporting LOFT’s cohort of 25 fellows. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate who is passionate about seeing stronger leadership in campaigns and public service. Some travel is required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Owning the coordination and delivery of all necessary logistics support for LOFT classroom sessions, including the delivery of classroom materials, both digital and physical, and ensuring that the classroom environment is consistently ready for our Fellows and educational programs.
- Assisting other team members with the coordination and communication with outside stakeholders including guest speakers, expert faculty, and university partners.
- Conducting research on relevant classroom and program topics for review and development with other team members.
- Assisting the Executive Director and Chief of Staff with budget and payments management.
- Providing general administrative support to the team and program, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and helping the program and meetings run on time.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

- A belief in and passion for LOFT’s vision, mission, and strategy
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience in an administrative support or meetings and conferences execution role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency with standard office technology tools, including Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- A bias toward action - constantly pushing toward alignment, clarity and execution on tight timelines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Desire to be part of a small team building a program for the first time, from the ground up.

$85,000 - $85,000 a year

The annual salary for this position is $$85,000.

LOFT provides the option of enrolling in medical, dental, and vision coverage plans for both the primary employee and applicable dependents. In addition, we provide a generous PTO policy, and the ability to contribute to a 401k, with a match, after 6 months of employment.
