About the Opportunity

The Michigan Democratic Party seeks talented, driven Voter Access Associates to join our team for the 2026 Coordinated Campaign. Michigan will be one of the most closely-watched states during the 2026 Midterm election cycle, and the Voter Access Department will play a critical role in ensuring that every eligible voter is able to cast a ballot that will count and that all legally cast ballots are counted.

Voter Access Associates for Programs will work with the Deputy Voter Access Director for Programs to recruit, engage, retain, deploy, and support a strong and diverse team of poll observers, ballot count observers, post-election canvass and certification observers, and other volunteers to support the Voter Access mission throughout the 2026 election cycle. As a member of the Voter Access Team, you will help execute a ground game that combats election denialism, voter suppression, and election subversion among other threats to the voting rights of Michiganders and ensures that every eligible voter’s voice is heard in the 2026 election.
