Regional GOTV Director
Description
The Michigan Democratic Party seeking Regional GOTV Directors to join the 2026 Coordinated Campaign. The Regional GOTV Directors will work as part of a team facilitating cross-departmental collaboration to support in executing and coordinating the large-scale effort to mobilize voters across Michigan during the final stretch of the 2026 election.
Key Responsibilities and Characteristics
- Execute the statewide GOTV plan in partnership with our Organizing, Voter Protection, Data, and Operations teams
- Assist the GOTV Director with inventory, audit and distribution of literature, signs, turf packets, and other GOTV resources to campaign offices across the state
- In coordination with our Operations Team, track and manage staging location preparedness for GOTV
- Respond quickly to changing needs across the campaign, helping solve logistical challenges and keeping programs running smoothly
- Work across teams to support the Organizing, Operations, Data, and GOTV directors with tasks as they arise during the final months of the campaign
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous organizing experience strongly preferred
- Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
- Familiarity with Votebuilder/VAN
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness and ability to work full time and travel across the state as needed
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
- Competence with G Suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work long, irregular hours – including weekends
Compensation and Location
The salary is $5,500 per month. Applicants must live in or be willing to relocate to Michigan. This position includes a full benefits package of health, vision, and dental insurance coverage.
