Position Overview
The Minnesota DFL is hiring full-time Field Organizers to work on behalf of state and local candidates with a strong focus on re-electing Attorney General Keith Ellison. Field Organizers will work under the Organizing Director and/or Field Director and be placed in a designated geographic area (turf) in order to maximize voter support and engagement in their area.
Terms of Employment: This is a temporary, Full-Time position extending through November 15, 2026. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the campaign’s direct voter contact program to increase and turn out support for Attorney General Keith Ellison and all DFLers in 2026.
- Plan, lead and execute grassroots field activities for volunteers such as canvasses (door knocks), phonebanks, text banks, and relational organizing outreach.
- Recruit, train, and maintain relationships with volunteers within your assigned turf.
- Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly basis including Direct Voter Contact and Volunteer recruitment through making calls and knocking doors to potential voters and/or volunteers.
- Work with other fellow Field Organizers, candidates, campaign staff, DFL organizing units, and allied organizations from across the state.
- Maintain accurate, secure, and up-to-date records of voter contact information and engagement activities. Utilize data to inform decisions and measure the impact of outreach efforts.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Organizing Director or Campaign Manager.

Additional qualifications that will help you succeed in this role:
- Prior electoral organizing, community organizing, or volunteer recruitment and management experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship).
- Knowledge and experience using Votebuilder (VAN)
- Experience overseeing or supervising volunteers or employees
- Fluency in Spanish, Somali, or Hmong is appreciated.

Compensation & Benefits
This is a temporary full-time, non-exempt position. The DFL offers a competitive benefits package, including:
- $4,500.00/ month salary for a 55 hour work week. Paid on a bi-weekly basis
