Coordinated Campaign Deputy GOTV Director
The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party Coordinated Campaign is hiring a full-time Deputy Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Director for the 2026 cycle. This is a mid-level position for those interested in building Minnesota’s 2026 GOTV program. As the Deputy GOTV Director, you will work across departments to build a successful GOTV operation that elects DFL candidates across Minnesota.
The Deputy GOTV Director reports to the GOTV Director, interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis with an ideal start date of August 3rd. This position will be based in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Assist the GOTV Director in planning, designing, and implementing the 2026 Early Vote Turnout & GOTV program
- Work closely with Coordinated Campaign departments and partners to ensure logistical needs are met, from setting up offices and action centers to packet production
- Track and monitor GOTV related needs across all departments of the Coordinated Campaign
- Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Coordinated Campaign leadership
Requirements:
- 1-2 cycles of proven campaign experience, particularly in organizing or supporting campaign GOTV efforts
- Proficiency with VoteBuilder (VAN)
- Ability to work across departments and with external partners
- Ability to work both diligently and independently as needed
- Ability to work long or irregular hours, including nights and weekends
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Cultural Competency – Able to build authentic relationships across lines of difference, such as race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, class, ability, gender identity, citizenship status, or other identities. Understands how to take an inclusive lens into all aspects of work
- Support for all of our DFL endorsed candidates.
Strongly preferred, but not required:
- Minnesota experience or ties to the state
- A background in political organizing, data, and/or operations
- Proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel
Compensation: Salary is $6,000–$6,500/month commensurate with experience. Employees of the DFL are paid on a bi-weekly basis and receive a competitive benefits package including health care and dental.
