Overview: We are seeking a full-time Acquisition Planner to help organize processes for list services and drive new donor growth for nonprofit and political organizations through dedicated direct mail strategies. If you have strong writing and analytical skills, are an expert multitasker, and are eager to add to your skills in a collaborative, energetic work environment that’s fighting for social good, this job is for you!
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Contributing to new donor growth for our nonprofit and political clients by developing prospective donor target audience for direct mail campaigns;
- Building and maintaining relationships with the client accounts in your portfolio;
- Assisting with statistical analysis of the performance of mailings, the development of creative list strategies, and developing overall client fundraising plans;
- Building and maintaining relationships with data services companies and list and data vendors to generate donor lists;
- Assisting internal teams with statistical analysis to determine the performance of direct mail campaigns;
- Collaborating on the development of creative donor list strategies;
- Ability to contribute to strategic thinking and develop understanding of how merge intelligence can impact the records kept; and
- Assisting in the development of overall client fundraising plans and goals.
Must-have qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience with direct mail statistics and/or nonprofit fundraising strategies;
- Comfort owning client correspondence and providing precise written instructions to multiple stakeholders, including data services companies and vendors;
- Experience analyzing multiple sets of data;
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment;
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills;
- Experience with excel, including pivot tables and lookups;
- Passion for making the world a better place.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Familiarity with merge processing and data priority selections as it relates to merge strategies.
Salary for this role is $64,000 per year.
This position is included in a union-represented collective bargaining unit, and specific employment terms and conditions are subject to collective bargaining.
Location
We are currently working remotely with no return to office date. Applicants may reside in the following states: AZ, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NC, NJ, NM, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, and VA. Due to FL legislation, MissionWired is required to participate in e-verify.
