We are looking for a talented and passionate Leadership Assistant to help support our state’s Leadership team. In this role, you will help ensure the leadership team is able to operate efficiently with optimized processes and a positive culture so that we are able to be successful in November.

This role will be based in Las Vegas and will require in-person work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership Support:
    • Serve as an additional point of contact for the State Campaign Manager, support managing their schedule, help prioritize meetings, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
    • Provide high-level administrative support to the leadership team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
    • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, presentations, and reports for leadership meetings.
    • Anticipate the State Campaign Manager needs and proactively address issues to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, ensuring the State Campaign Manager is well-prepared and informed.
    • Draft and edit correspondence, emails, and reports on behalf of the State Campaign Manager, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
    • Support the execution of key projects and initiatives by coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables.
    • Track project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and escalate issues to the appropriate leadership as necessary.
  2. Process Management:
    • Develop and monitor team processes and structures for communications and accountability
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive implementation efforts to optimize organizational effectiveness.
    • Encourage a culture of accountability and excellence within the team and across the organization.
  3. Communication Support:
    • Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively convey key messages internally and externally.
    • Draft and edit internal communications, including memos, weekly roundups, and announcements from the State Campaign Manager.
    • Act as a liaison between the executive team and other departments, facilitating cross-functional communication and collaboration.
    • Assess communication blockers across departments to ensure effective cross departmental collaboration
  4. Special Functions
    • Own special projects that fall outside of regular departmental functions on an as needed basis

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 2 years of executive or principle management experience
  • Volunteer or professional experience on a campaign
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse team
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to project manage and discern urgency of competing priorities
  • Strong and clear communication skills

Salary Expectations: $6000 – $6250 per month commensurate with experience plus benefits
