The NSDP is currently seeking a top-tier, highly motivated Organizing Director for our 2026 Coordinated Campaign. This person will oversee the execution of the NSDP’s organizing efforts to engage volunteers and voters in order to elect Democratic candidates up-and-down the ticket. This position includes managing, directly and indirectly, a team of Deputy Organizing Directors, Regional Organizing Directors, and Field Organizers. You will be a valued thought partner in developing strategies

to maximize volunteers, management strategy, while helping organizers hit their metrics.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to,

  • Develop and implement the coordinated campaign’s statewide organizing program, including staff development, volunteer recruitment, and voter contact
  • Hire and oversee all Organizing department staff, including Deputy Organizing Directors, Regional Organizing Directors, and Organizers
  • Create systems and communication structures that provide clear direction and motivate teams to achieve ambitious volunteer and voter contact goals
  • Oversee a training program that boosts staff productivity and develops volunteers’ skills
  • Collaborate with Data, Operations, and Voter Access departments
  • Implement creative and innovative grassroots field tactics, including managing and executing effective activities, such as canvassing, relational organizing, phone banking & high traffic canvassing.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 cycles of campaign experience in organizing and at least 2 cycles in a management role.
  • Nevada ties and / or battleground state experience
  • Intentionality when developing a thriving, healthy internal team culture
  • Demonstrated skill at setting and communicating priorities
  • Experience with field or organizing (such as targeting, training, voter identification, and get-out-the-vote drives)
  • Record of working with national, state and local political partners engaged in electoral strategies and programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and clearly communicate with different types of stakeholders, from high level elected officials to grassroots activists
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to move to Las Vegas, Nevada by April 1, 2026
