New American Leaders and New American Leaders Action Fund are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join the Board of Directors. Both boards play a vital role in advancing our missions and ensuring our organizations thrive. We are looking for candidates that fit the following criteria:- Commitment to Mission: Politically engaged with values rooted in social justice; strong gender and racial equity lens.- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities, innovative thinking, and the ability to drive positive change; previous board experience ideal.- Diverse Background: Life experience connected to the immigrant experience; boards aim to reflect the diverse communities we serve.- Fundraising Commitment: Board members are expected to actively contribute their time, skills, and resources towards NAL or NALAF’s mission, including a meaningful personal annual donation. Each board member is required to lead by example in fundraising efforts, pledging to secure a minimum of $10,000 for New American Leaders and a minimum of $5,000 for New American Leaders Action Fund.
