As a paid data intern at New Blue Interactive, you will play a pivotal role in our close-knit team of world-class digital strategists. You will get hands-on experience in large-scale data management, updating our interactive stats dashboards and building out our monitoring tools for enhanced deliverability. This is a full-time (35 hours plus preferred) internship for the summer semester.
Relevant Skills:
Must have a passion for progressive causes and Democratic candidates and want to be a part of an award-winning team.
Eagerness to “always be learning” and able to learn quickly and on the fly.
Experience in the creation and/or maintenance of data visualizations.
Experience in analyzing datasets.
Must have a desire to work with large data sets, create systems for organizing data, and managing systems to keep information up-to-date
Ability to manage multiple projects, and deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to change direction if needed.
Day to day duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist in building and updating data visualizations across numerous campaign clients.
Checking data visualizations for issues and collaboratively problem-solving to fix them.
Helping to organize, manage, and retrieve information from large datasets and in-house libraries.
Building out deliverability monitoring toolkits for our email programs and suggesting courses of action to improve deliverability for client domains.
Participate in training seminars and/or webinars as required.
Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.
