Voter Access Associate

The New Hampshire Democratic Party is seeking a Voter Access Associate to support the 2026

voter access program. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about voting rights and

committed to the mission of working to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

The Voter Access Associate will be a key leader in the voter access program, helping to build

and execute an innovative, data-driven statewide plan to identify and address the barriers to

casting a ballot in New Hampshire. This position will engage in work in each area of the voter

access program’s work: election administration & advocacy; poll observation; voter assistance

hotline, voter education, and volunteer recruitment. This position is a full-time in-person role

based in New Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

● Work alongside the Voter Access Director and the voter access team to implement the

voter protection plan.

● Recruit, train, and engage volunteers to ensure we reach our coverage goals and make

the volunteer experience fulfilling.

● Develop expertise in voting processes and administration in your region.

● Work with the Voter Access Team to develop, produce, and disseminate accurate

voting information to voters.

● Develop and maintain relationships with election officials, party leadership,

campaigns, and other stakeholders in your region.

● Support other aspects of the voter access program.

● Report to the Deputy Voter Access Director.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

● At least one cycle of experience in organizing on a campaign or with a voter protection

program, or two years of experience in a legal-, policy- or advocacy-focused role.

● An ability to build trust and strong relationships with volunteers, elections officials,

and party officials – and an ability to exercise good judgment in knowing how to

advance program goals while maintaining those relationships

● Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and

competing priorities in order to meet deadlines

● Demonstrates grace under pressure – thrives in a fast-paced environment, is decisive,

and maintains composure and teamwork skills under pressure.

● A willingness to learn and help others grow professionally.

● Commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ticket in New Hampshire

This position has a salary of 5,000 per month and full benefits, including PTO as needed,

health, dental, and vision insurance. This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of

the campaign and will require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
