Coordinated Campaign Field Organizer
Job Description: The New York State Democratic Committee seeks Coordinated Campaign Field
Organizers to join our team in 2026. Field Organizers will recruit and manage teams of volunteers in their
assigned geographic area, host events in the community, and conduct voter outreach to turn out voters
for the 2026 elections. Ideal candidates are highly motivated, creative thinkers who are dedicated to
electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
The Field Organizer will:
● Work to elect New York Democrats up and down the ballot by recruiting volunteers, knocking on
doors, and participating in community events within their assigned area.
● Train volunteers to take action through door knocking, phone calls, and other voter contact
methods.
● Develop relationships with local grassroots activists, stakeholders, and organizations.
● Meet daily and weekly programmatic goals for both volunteer recruitment and voter contact.
● Adhere to strong data integrity standards and ensure data is accurately recorded in a timely
manner.
● Other responsibilities as assigned.
Ideal Experience and Characteristics:
● No experience necessary - all field organizers will be trained on core skills needed to execute the
role effectively.
● Existing relationships in your community is a plus.
● Highly organized and independent work style; a strong ability to multitask and communicate
● Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to build relationships, listen, collaborate, and
lead with respect and professionalism.
● Must have access to a cell phone, vehicle and ability to relocate if necessary.
Pay Range: $5,525/month + benefits. Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but not
limited to experience.
