Finance Events Associate Description
Location: Manhattan
Manager: Director of Events
Salary Range: $5,200-$5,400 monthly

Friends for Kathy Hochul is seeking a full-time Finance Associate to assist with
fundraising for the campaign of New York State’s first female Governor, Kathy
Hochul. The role will primarily focus on assisting the Governor's Finance events
operation.
Responsibilities:
● Draft event & meetings briefs
● Manage reservations & event bookings
● Assist with pledge follow up, event outreach, and compliance outreach to
donors
● Create event donation pages and event invitations
● Maintain the finance team calendar to ensure it is up to date with scheduled
events, meetings, and holds
● Staff events and other tasks assigned as needed
Qualifications:
● Previous campaign or finance/fundraising experience preferred
● Able to start immediately and work nontraditional hours as needed
● Self-starter and problem solver who is highly organized and detail-oriented
● Excellent time management skills
● Strong conversation skills with the ability to greet and converse with donors
through virtual correspondence and in-person fundraising efforts
● Required systems knowledge: GoogleSheets and/or Microsoft Excel,
GoogleDocs and/or Microsoft Word
● Preferred systems knowledge: NGP 8 or other donor database, Canva or
similar graphic design software, ActBlue
