Coordinated Campaign Operations Director

Job Description: The New York State Democratic Committee seeks a Coordinated Campaign Operations

Director to join our team in 2026. The Operations Director will be responsible for managing all

administrative aspects of the 2026 coordinated campaign. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated,

creative thinkers who are dedicated to electing Democrats up and down the ballot.

The Operations Director will:

● Assist with hiring and onboarding of all organizing staff; manage components of staff training as

it relates to policies, procedures, and security standards set by the campaign.

● Locate and help to secure regional offices, finalize leases, and set up utilities.

● Work closely with the Coordinated Campaign Director to accurately track projected expenses

and manage the coordinated campaign budget.

● Coordinate and manage payroll for all coordinated campaign employees including tracking hours

for all non-exempt employees.

Ideal Experience and Characteristics:

● At least 2 cycles of campaign experience, with previous operations experience preferred.

● Demonstrated cultural competence and the skills needed to work meaningfully with those who

are culturally different from the self; a commitment to fostering a positive working environment

grounded in the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion

● Highly organized and independent work style; a strong ability to multitask and communicate

● Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to build relationships, listen, collaborate, and

lead with respect and professionalism.

Pay Range: $8,000 - 10,000/month + benefits. Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but

not limited to experience.
