Coordinated Campaign Deputy Operations Director

Job Description: The New York State Democratic Committee seeks a Coordinated Campaign Deputy

Operations Director to join our team in 2026. The Deputy Operations Director will assist the Operations

Director in managing administrative aspects of the 2026 coordinated campaign. Ideal candidates will be

highly motivated, creative thinkers who are dedicated to electing Democrats up and down the ballot.

The Deputy Operations Director will:

● Lead all regional office management processes, helping to source prospects, finalize leases, and

then maintain utilities and supplies needs

● Support campaign leadership with hiring and onboarding processes for all incoming coordinated

campaign staff

● Collaborate with other campaign departments to ensure seamless operational support for all

coordinated campaign programming

● Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Director

Ideal Experience and Characteristics:

● 1+ cycles of campaign experience, with previous operations experience preferred

● Demonstrated cultural competence and the skills needed to work meaningfully with those who

are culturally different from the self; a commitment to fostering a positive working environment

grounded in the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion

● Highly organized and independent work style; a strong ability to multitask and communicate

● Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to build relationships, listen, collaborate, and

lead with respect and professionalism

Pay: $6,000-$7,000 month + benefits.
