Coordinated Campaign Intern
Job Description: The New York State Democratic Committee seeks interns to join our team in 2026.
Interns will assist their assigned field organizers with volunteer recruitment and management while also
conducting voter outreach in their communities. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, creative
thinkers who are dedicated to electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
Interns will:
● Hit defined field goals, including traditional grassroots voter contact metrics.
● Participate and help execute regular civic engagement events, information sessions, tabling, and
more.
● Assist their assigned field organizer(s) with volunteer recruitment, management, and escalation.
● Adhere to strong data integrity standards and ensure data is accurately recorded in a timely
manner.
● Other responsibilities as assigned.
Ideal Experience and Characteristics:
● No experience necessary - all interns will be trained on core skills needed to execute the role
effectively.
● Creativity and a willingness to think outside the box.
● Highly organized and independent work style; a strong ability to multitask and communicate.
● Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to build relationships, listen, collaborate, and
lead with respect and professionalism.
Pay Range: Interns will be paid $17/hour.
