Deputy Director of Operations Description
Location: Manhattan
Manager: Director of Operations
Salary Range: $7,500 - $8,500 monthly (commensurate with experience)

Friends for Kathy Hochul is seeking a full-time Deputy Director of Operations to
oversee the campaign’s day-to-day internal systems, managing financial workflows,
and maintaining a high-functioning headquarters. The Deputy Director ensures our
legal, compliance, financial, and logistical structures scale smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Compliance
● Coordinate closely with our external compliance firm to prepare, review, and
finalize mandatory campaign finance disclosure filings.
● Oversee daily payment authorizations and contract routing.
People Operations & HQ Management
● Oversee routine HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits
administration, and meticulous personnel record-keeping.
● Direct daily headquarters operations, managing mail processing, printing
services, supplies, and physical facilities.
● Oversee device provisioning and enforce strict cybersecurity protocols;
coordinate physical access, health safety, and emergency preparedness.
● Supervise Operations Assistant to ensure seamless booking, vendor
coordination, and strict budget compliance for staff travel.
● Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
● 3–5+ years of experience across political operations, compliance, or law.
● Experience using NGP VAN and accounting software is required.
● Exceptional attention to detail.
● Absolute discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive political,
financial, legal, and personnel data.
