THE ROLE:

NextGen America is seeking a dynamic and creative political professional to join our youth organizing program that will engage young people, promote prosperity for all Americans, and expand access to the ballot box for young Americans.

The Quality Control Coordinator will oversee quality review of the voter registration programming in the region. The primary responsibilities of the Quality Control Coordinator will be to review form processing, review daily quality control system entries and uploads, and maintain high caliber data collection for the voter registration team in Tucson, Arizona. The Quality Control Coordinator should be passionate about providing data support and implementing systems.

This role will report to the Arizona Organizing Director.

This role is in-person; applicants will need to live in Tucson, Arizona and be able to travel to and from a field office each work day.

Travel Requirements: Daily travel to field office, weekly travel to Elections Department, and 5% travel outside of primary region.

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE:

  • Maintain high caliber data collection by ensuring all data entry is completed and maintain the highest standards of integrity, form completion, and data quality.
  • Review form processing and flagged forms after Regional Organizing Director’s visual inspections for accuracy, keep accurate records of delivery, and raise concerns or issues to Quality Control Manager & State Leadership.
  • Review daily quality control system entries and uploads in our quality control software.
  • Establish regular check-ins and provide constructive feedback to the regional organizing directors to provide to field organizers & deputy field organizers.
  • Provide training on best practices throughout the program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY:

This position is a full-time, exempt position and the hours here are general expectations for what the time requirement will be to effectively complete your responsibilities. Applicants must have the willingness and ability to work the following schedule:

    • A work schedule consisting of approximately 8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week
    • General availability to work weekends and irregular hours
    • A high capacity work schedule during designated events (For example: campus welcome weeks, the weeks leading up to voter registration deadlines) consisting of approximately 10-12 hours per day, 6 days per week
  • A work schedule consisting of up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week for the 14 days leading up to the General Election (on even years only)

ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous experience registering voters and managing organizer and volunteers
  • Very well organized; excellent written & verbal communications skills
  • Driven with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to foster a cooperative, team-oriented work environment
  • Experience working with VAN, Votebuilder, and/or Blocks

SALARY INFORMATION:

The salary for this position is $3,624.40/monthly, this is a part-time position.
