Call Time Manager
NJ Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee
Purpose:
A legislative campaign seeks a full-time Call Time Manager for the 2025 cycle. This role is in-person and reports directly to the Finance Director in the assigned legislative district. The Call Time Manager will staff fundraising efforts and support candidates in scheduling and executing donor outreach during the campaign period (January 2025 - November 2025). The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and flexible, capable of working irregular hours and attending events as needed. The role runs from January 10, 2025, to November 30, 2025, with potential changes in district assignment after the June primary election
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate call time priorities with the Finance Director.
- Prepare and research call lists, including donor giving history and contact information.
- Staff candidates during call time and assist with follow-up outreach.
- Maintain and track the progress of the call time program, providing reports as required.
- Support event logistics and attend fundraising events.
- Maintain databases and assist with administrative and technical needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 cycles of campaign experience - finance experience or prior call time experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills, able to work with candidates, stakeholders, and donors.
- Ability to manage data efficiently and work independently or collaboratively.
- Must have access to reliable transportation, a computer, and a smartphone.
- Willingness to work in-person with no virtual option for the campaign's duration.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with fundraising platforms like ActBlue, NGP, Canva and Google Sheets.
- Event logistics experience and an understanding of data management tools.
- Knowledge of New Jersey politics and campaign finance laws, or the ability to quickly learn.
Responsibilities:
Work is primarily performed in an office setting, and travel is required for events.
