Reports to: an Organizing Manager
President Biden’s Coordinated Campaign and the Pennsylvania Democratic Party is hiring a Deputy Director of Paid Canvass Programming to work with our wide-scale organizing operation in the fight for the soul of our nation.
The Deputy Director of Paid Canvass Programming will report to an Organizing Manager and will be the primary points of contact for all paid direct voter contact vendors. They will work closely with the organizing leadership and state leadership to coordinate paid canvasses, phones, and relational.
In this position you will:

Work with vendors to create ramps, predict capacity, and shift resources as priorities change

Oversee key quality control systems to ensure paid canvass operations seamlessly integrate into volunteer canvass data systems

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop dashboard and integrating reporting

Coordinate with Data to ensure data flow between HQ, states, and vendor is timely

Coordinate with Operations to ensure vendors have all necessary materials and scripts

Responsible for visiting and inspecting paid canvass offices and operations
Top things we’re looking for:

Strong commitment to Democratic politics and ideals and enthusiasm for electing Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Senator Bob Casey, and Democrats up and down the ballot;

Three cycles of organizing experience and at least two cycles of staff management experience is preferred, including experience managing paid canvass.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Willingness to manage a diverse team with different experiences and perspectives, and a commitment to helping them grow and succeed. ?

Ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment.?

Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.?

A valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle.
This role is a full time, in person role located in Philadelphia, PA.
