Position: Digital Associate

Salary: $5,000/Month

Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Reports to: Deputy Director for Content

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party and Harris for President are hiring a Digital Partnerships Associate to create compelling digital content that effectively reaches voters online.

The Digital Content Associate will report to the Deputy Director for Content and prepare the online content necessary to persuade and mobilize voters in 2024.

In this position you will:

  • Create social media content for in-state campaign social media accounts, as well as produces content for allies and supporters to share from their accounts

  • Identify engagement opportunities for the campaign on social media

  • Capture content at campaign events across Pennsylvania

  • Contribute creative content ideas and suggests opportunities for the campaign to reach new online audiences

  • Engage the campaign’s online communities and share content for distribution

Top things we’re looking for:

  • Strong commitment to Democratic politics and ideals and enthusiasm for electing Kamala Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot;

  • 1+ years of experience working on/in political campaigns, community organizing, government or related fields (ideally in a digital capacity)

  • Experience creating social media content and managing social accounts for political campaigns or relevant organizations

  • Photography or video editing experience is a huge plus

  • Has an understanding of social media and the digital landscape for political campaigns

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities (with an emphasis on attention to detail)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment.

  • Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

This role is a full time, in person role located in Pittsburgh, PA.
