The 2026 Pennsylvania Coordinated Campaign is seeking a Distributed Organizer as part of the Digital Team and broader Coordinated Campaign. Distributed Organizers should be passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building an online community of volunteers needed to win elections up and down ballot for Democrats in 2026. Distributed Organizers are responsible for various tasks focused on capacity building and online engagement. The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is committed to electing Democrats at every level of government and building a strong, inclusive organization across the Commonwealth. This is a full-time position based in Harrisburg, PA, with regular travel throughout the state.
Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build grassroots support by reaching out to and persuading voters directly through phonebanking and other direct voter contact (DVC) tactics.
- Recruit, manage, and train a diverse team of volunteers in designated turfs across Pennsylvania.
- Help manage Scale to Win Tool for both dialer and texting functions
- Hold training and engagement events online (Zoom) to train a large-scale online community of volunteers, voters, and stakeholders on Slack to support Coordinated Campaign content through their own networks
- Engage and recruit volunteers and supporters into the online Slack community.
- Lead special projects or priority initiatives as assigned by Digital Team Leadership
Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience
- At least one cycle in a Distributed Organizing or Volunteer Training and Development role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of digital campaign tools (Scale to Win, Votebuilder, Mobilize, Reach)
- Ability to track and report data in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner.
- Familiarity with digital community management.
- Strong sense of community and culture building online
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with NGP VAN and modern voter contact and organizing tools
