Position Summary
The BVM is seeking a Texting Coordinator who will expand the scope and scale of BVM’s texting program to increase civic participation. This work supports BVM’s broader objective of advocating for racial justice and building power by centering Black love, Black culture and Black joy.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage broadcast texting program (currently using EZ Texting)
- Coordinate Peer-to-Peer texting program in partnership with partners (Resistance Labs)
- Manage implementation of Empowerment app relational organizing in collaboration with state-based staff and community partners.
- Understand and apply data analytics to improve the effectiveness of the work
Salary & benefits: Annual range of $47k – $51k, depending on experience, plus health benefits.
