WHO WE ARE:
Red Wine & Blue is a national community of diverse suburban women working together to defeat extremism, one friend at a time (best explained by this Washington Post profile, ‘Blue’ suburban moms are mobilizing to counter conservatives and this NYT episode of “The Daily,” Why Suburban Women Changed Their Minds). TroubleNation is Red Wine & Blue’s distributed organizing program, and we’re looking for a full-time TroubleNation Organizer to support and guide grassroots leaders across the western U.S. region. In this role, you’ll help volunteers develop and grow their own TroubleNation groups within our national grassroots movement.
You’ll build relationships, get to know passionate individuals, and brainstorm creative ways to support their efforts. Most importantly, you’ll provide the encouragement and hands-on support they need as they take their first—sometimes scary—steps into leadership. If you love connecting with people, empowering new leaders, and being part of a dynamic movement, this role is for you!
WHO YOU ARE: You are a warm and welcoming connector who thrives on building relationships and supporting grassroots leaders. You love engaging with people from all walks of life, actively listening to their stories, brainstorming ideas, and cheering them on. You’re patient and don’t mind answering questions more than once to ensure clarity. Most of all, you’re passionate about helping others succeed and creating spaces where people feel valued and supported.
