About Red Wine & Blue
Red Wine & Blue is a nonprofit organization that organizes and mobilizes suburban women across the political spectrum. As we deepen engagement with Spanish-speaking communities, we are seeking a qualified translator, agency, or communications firm to ensure our materials are accurate, culturally resonant, and accessible.
Project Overview
This is a medium-sized, multi-month translation project. The scope includes, but is not limited to:
- One-pagers, fact sheets, and advocacy materials
- Website copy and digital content
- Member-facing content in our Rally platform
- Evergreen member guides and other external-facing materials
The full document inventory has not been finalized. The selected vendor will assist with an initial scoping process at project kickoff. Volume and timeline will be confirmed once scoping is complete.
Scope of Work
Translation & Localization: Accurate, culturally appropriate English-to-Spanish translation with an emphasis on localization over literal translation. Experience with political, civic engagement, or advocacy content is strongly preferred.
Design & Layout Preservation: Translated documents must be delivered in their original formats (PDF, Word, Canva, InDesign, etc.) with all design elements, branding, and formatting intact. Canva experience is highly preferred. Minimal to no redesign support will be available from our internal team.
Project Scoping: Assistance with document inventory and phasing recommendations based on volume, priority, and budget. Clear timelines, milestones, and regular communication are expected.
Quality Assurance: Multi-step review including native speaker proofreading, accuracy verification for political and policy terminology, and built-in client revision rounds.
