Relentless

Full-time
Remote
6,000 – 6,000 USD per month
Posted on Jul 2, 2024

In 2024, Relentless is running a first-of-its-kind compensated relational program at scale across battleground states using Rally. This program will hire 20,000+ low turnout voters to become relational organizers in their communities and turn their friends and families out to vote. Relentless does this through high-energy, community-focused, and educational virtual events that move participants to action and change their relationship to democracy. Our virtual mobilization events provide participants with an experience of enthusiasm, support, and confidence for the work they are doing—so they can continue to be trusted messengers to their communities.

The State Mobilization Manager will oversee and manage all virtual event operations and logistics for their state.

This role will hire, train, and manage a remote team of 1 full-time Mobilization Events Organizer and up to 20 part-time Mobilization Events Leads (MELs). These staff will run virtual Onboarding, Get Out the Vote, and Election Day events for participants in their state who are mobilizing their friends and family to vote. The State Manager will be responsible for the scheduling, logistics, and quality of all virtual events in their state and for the success of their state’s MELs as they support participants through the program. The State Manager will also communicate state-specific voting information and program strategy to staff, which includes conveying and implementing changing program tactics.

A great State Mobilization Manager is someone who is always on top of deadlines and loves the challenge of keeping a big team running smoothly. They will enjoy managing and coaching a team of part-time staff, have a knack for getting into the nitty gritty to make sure systems are operational at all times, and be deeply committed to running virtual events that empower and celebrate our mobilizers.

This is a full-time, remote, and temporary position with a start date of August 6th, 2024 and an end date of November 15th, 2024.
