Calltime Manager

Ship Creek Group

Ship Creek Group

Full-time
Anchorage, AK, USA · Remote
USD 25-30 / hour
Posted on Aug 21, 2025

Company Overview Ship Creek Group (SCG) specializes in projects with clear end goals that require multiple competencies, including local campaigns, ballot initiatives, and marketing for nonprofits. We are a one-stop-shop, our work ranges from coordinating a candidate’s schedule, to rebranding local nonprofits and small businesses, to shooting and producing professional TV commercials. Our team is built around the idea that a small group of folks with shared values and different skills can get stuff done more effectively by working together. We adhere to the simple premise that our work should push forward leaders, organizations, and ideas that raise the bar in our community.

We also anticipate potential statewide campaign work (U.S. Senate, Governor, or U.S. House) in the near future. If that moves forward we’ll be helping to hire a separate, dedicated Calltime Manager for that campaign. You would have the chance to build your own team, develop systems, and design the program from the ground up. If you're interested in that opportunity, please reach out directly for more details. Compensation and benefits will be negotiated separately and will differ from what is listed here.

Position summary

SCG is hiring a Calltime Manager to help drive the day-to-day execution of calltime fundraising programs across multiple campaigns. Working under the guidance of senior fundraising staff, you’ll take ownership of organizing calltime sessions from start to finish: building systems, prepping and managing donor lists, scheduling sessions, staffing calls, data entry, and keeping everything on track to meet fundraising goals. In addition to calltime, you’ll support the broader Finance Team by drafting fundraising messages and conducting donor research. You’ll coordinate with Campaign Managers and the Compliance Team to ensure fundraising activity is well-aligned, donor data is current, and all efforts are properly documented—though you won’t be responsible for filing APOC reports yourself.

This role is a great opportunity to work on high-impact campaigns at the municipal, legislative, and statewide level—and to build meaningful relationships with candidates and elected officials across Alaska. If you’re someone who loves keeping things organized, helping candidates stay focused, and hitting goals, this role is made for you.

Duties & areas of activity

  • Build and manage donor lists, prep calltime sheets and donation pages, and keep emails and voicemails fresh throughout the campaign.
  • Schedule, organize, and staff calltime sessions— ensure candidates are focused, on time, and making the most of every call.
  • Track progress, weekly totals, and projections—flag any dips early and help brainstorm smart adjustments to stay on target.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers and Digital Teams to make sure fundraising messages line up with the campaign’s overall strategy.
  • Keep donor relationships strong by sending timely thank-yous and updating contact records after each call.

Desired qualifications

You don’t need to check every box—but if you bring two or more of the strengths below, we want to hear from you:

  • Fundraising Chops – You’ve worked the phones, built relationships with donors, planned events, or managed budgets in a campaign or nonprofit setting.
  • Alaska Connection – You’ve got ties to the 49th State, or you understand the unique political landscape here and care about its future.
  • Systems Pro – You’re organized, detail-oriented, and can juggle a lot of moving parts without missing a beat.

Bonus Points If...

  • You’re comfortable using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) and project management tools.
