Production interns work on a wide range of fast-paced political candidate, issue advocacy, and corporate clients.

Ideal candidates are driven, self-starters with the ability to grasp complex subject matter quickly and work well within teams.

Responsibilities

  • Importing, logging, and organizing original footage in Adobe Premiere and production databases.
  • Organize and review transcripts from original footage.
  • Assisting producers on locating sourcing material and news clips.
  • Editing together pitch reels.
  • Editing videos for social media
  • Updating and maintaining production logs and trackers.
  • Organizing and maintaining records on scripts, ads, and voiceovers sessions.
  • Assisting on video shoots when available.

Qualifications

  • Experience using Adobe Premiere. Please share relevant work.
  • Candidates must have full-time availability in Washington D.C., Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with three days in office.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage tasks remotely.
  • Experience with video production workflows including asset management, file organization, and post-production processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and the ability to handle competing deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing landscapes and to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Previous relevant experience in production related assignments or internships
