Reports to: Fundraising Director
Eligibility: This position is not eligible to participate in Sunrise’s CWA Labor Union
Compensation: $700 per month, before taxes

The Fundraising Intern will join Sunrise's Fundraising Team in contacting donors and provide outreach support. We are more than happy to support and train fundraising intern and work with their academic schedules, if needed.
Responsibilities

The Fundraising Intern will provide day-to-day support as needed for the organization’s development campaigns
They will primarily support the team by making donor outreaches via phone or email to engage Sunrise supporters, helping grow Sunrise donor base, and shareback how calls went
They should also be able to assist with the launch of Sunrise’s Volunteer Fundraising Team.
The Intern may also be asked to help with long-term projects that may include research projects, reviewing fundraising materials for top level thoughts, and other special projects for the department as needed
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities You'll Bring:
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to show initiative, ask questions, and adapt to changing priorities
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Comfortable speaking to people on the phone
Fundraising experience desired but not required
